How Fetcher handles practice, pet parent, and patient information.
Last updated: July 17, 2026
Fetcher is a practice platform for mobile and in-home veterinarians, built and funded by Angel Paw. This policy explains what information the platform handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, the Fetcher application, and the pet parent portal and apps.
We use information to operate the platform: scheduling, routing, notifications, records, invoicing, and support; to keep the service secure and prevent abuse; and to improve the product using aggregated, de-identified data. We do not sell personal data, and clinical records are never used for advertising.
Information is shared only to run the service you asked for: payment processing partners, communication delivery providers, mapping and calendar services, accounting systems a practice connects, and Angel Paw when an aftercare order is created. Each provider handles data under its own safeguards and only for the service it performs. We also disclose information when the law requires it.
Fetcher's position is that families should control their pet's health records. Pet parents can see their pet's data in the Fetcher app and portal and decide who gets access. See our Data ownership page for the full picture.
Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-based, and activity on sensitive records is logged. We keep records for as long as an account is active or as the law requires for veterinary and controlled substance records, then delete or de-identify them.
Practices can export their records at any time. Pet parents can manage notification preferences from any message they receive. For access, correction, export, or deletion requests, contact us and we will respond promptly.
